Frank Cozin Bio
Frank Cozin is an accomplished singer-guitarist/performing artist who has entertained countless audiences for many years. Frank prides himself on both his original material and being able to entertain any group of people at any time regardless of the venue.
Frank started as a street performer in Greenwich Village NYC, honing his skills playing in Washington Square Park and at various clubs in the area. He graduated to playing professionally in various rock & roll bands in the New Jersey/New York Tri State area. Playing extensively for many years, his gigs included playing original shows at the legendary CBGB’s in NYC and The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, both of which were awesome /unforgettable experiences. During this time, Frank never stopped writing and recording original music as well as playing his songs live at the gigs. Playing the originals live was always crucial in his own mind to validate the quality of the songs to connect with people. His songs received airplay in FM stations including: WDHA 105.5 FM, WFMU 91.9 FM, and WRSU 88.7 FM. Moving “down south” to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in 2022, Frank continues to do “all of the above”. His current band, The Bandit Boys, plays the best of classic rock, outlaw country, bluegrass, and of course Bandit Boys original songs.
Frank’s eclectic influences include: Buddy Holly, Jim Croce, Beatles, Elvis Presley, Rolling Stones, George Strait, Randy Travis, Jimmy Buffet, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, James Taylor, Hank Williams, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, The Eagles, Johnny Cash and many others. His goal is to continue to perform live music, write and record original music, and contribute to the joy and enrichment music adds to peoples lives everywhere.
